Chapter 7 - Stuck / Softlocked
During Chapter 7, after accessing the Nexus Terminal, there doesn't seem to be any way to exit the terminal after watching/reading everything. The "B" button isn't available in the main Terminal menu, and I've rewatched/read every entry multiple times. Also tried the two different dialogue choices that pop up during the one video. Anyone run into this or know a a way to move forward? I've reloaded last checkpoint a bunch to see if trying different orders of reading/watching do anything.

Same issue for me. The first time, the game locked up when Rocket says the line about Ko-Rel escaping the mining ship. On subsequent attempts, it looks like the lighting breaks at that same moment.

My feeling is the game's trying to load something that would usually force you off the terminal at the end of the cutscene, but it's failing to trigger.

I'm going to validate the game files now, but considering we're having this issue at the same time, I think something bigger is going on.

My specs are as follows:

AMD 3700X
MSI Suprim X 3080
16GB RAM
Windows 10

Finally was able to figure it out. Turns out the button prompt isn't being displayed. Instead of "B" to exit or back up, you have to hit "Y".

Interestingly, I stumbled on another solution, though I don't exactly know what happened.

I booted up the game, and all my display settings had been reset. I set them back to normal, loaded my save, and found that the prompts now appear.

Thanks, that did it for me. Just hit Y even if it doesn't give you the option.

How strange. I, too, only had the (x) option on the screen - for about 5 loads. Then I read this post, and - all of a sudden, a (y) option became available the next itme I ran the game.
