Game breaking Chapter 1 glitch at Rocket's challenge

Description of the issue: Chapter 1. After destroying parasite nest, after Rocket initiates the challenge with Peter. The camera view cannot be changed. Game breaking. Rocket doesn't move after initiating the challenge. Groot will move if you move Peter. Peter cannot turn, look down, or change perspective. He seems locked onto something.

CPU Model: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12400 (12 CPUs), ~2.5GHz

GPU Model: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060

RAM: 32768MB

Windows version: Windows 11 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 22000) (22000.co_release.210604-1628)

Have you tried lowering the graphic preset? [Yes ]

Resolution: 1920 x 1080(p) (60.000Hz)

Is raytracing enabled? No]

Are you able to consistently reproduce the issue, even after doing a reload of last checkpoint? [Yes]

Do you have any accessibility option activated? No

Do you have particular outfits equipped for the Guardians? No

Same issue, spent an hour trying to figure out why peter just seems to want to stare at the same random spot and can't proceed. same on windows 10/11 desktop or gaming laptop.

You can't start the challenge until after Rocket moves.

Don't remember if I entered the next area, or if I initiated dialouge with Rocket to get him to start moving. Once he does, you can start the challenge.
