has anybody finish this game on steam deck?

they claimed it was verified, and i just got it because of this.
buttttt.... the game runs poory on the lowest settings. kicks out an insane amount of heat, and text is all jacked up, hard to read everything.
my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined
even using the steam deck hooked up on a small tv, that reduced its heat output its still burn to the touch after 7 minutes of not really doing anything in game
played a decent amount of games on my steam deck and this one runs the worst, well also heating up the fastest.
any deck settings i can tweak? cause the in game ones do just about nothing to help it run

I just finished the game. Medium settings, 30 fps cap. First world is graphically intense. I also changed the vram usage to 4gb in the bios. There will sill be some framedrops from time to time, but its def playable and enjoyable. Hope this helps.

1080p hd custom med - high settings fsr quality 30 fps. I agree with post above, first world does dip so I recommend setting the graphics a bit lower at the start. Ran mostly smooth otherwise!

^^^ that helped, what helped more was setting the steam deck framerate limiter to 20 with a refresh rate of 40
and when you get past the 1st world it does run better
