I like the game.

Good stuff:
Its story, despite at its core being linear, does a better job of branching out and adding optional bits than most open-world games I've played. Things like getting the pass-key from Nikki, to meeting Lipless in Knowhere, to Drax refusing to throw Rocket are all optional but are always highlighted due to the linear design.

Combat is much better than I expected. You get people saying its bad, but considering its trying to let you play as 5 different characters simultaneously, it does a pretty good job. Cooldowns on the other guardians felt off to me at first, but since new abilities let different guardians accomplish similar tasks, it became a fun game of deciding which guardian I should expend on a certain task and which to the other. The special abilities you can unlock via story are also great. You only get 1 per character, but they have their own cooldown seperate from their other 3 abilities and are more in-line with the character's role.

Enemy variety is good enough. There are many re-skinned enemies with different stats but similar functionality, but there's still decent variety among them, especially regarding their functionality. Fighting a Nova Centurian is different than fighting an Inquisitor, which is different from fighting a Slakebeast, which is different from fighting a Wendigo, so on.

Bad stuff:
The dialogue fights itself for the spotlight.
It constantly gets interrupted by other dialogue, which is a shame because I genuinely want to hear where it was going and then won't find out.

Peter feels a bit slippery when walking, which can lead you to walk off the stages a lot, especially when trying to order your team.

Gamora's ass is missing.
This is especially noticable with the Nova outfits. Peter is literally just double cheeked up, while Gamora's buns are literally flat.
