in terms of cinematic space opera mostly Mass Effect.
And in terms of sheer spectacle in Third-Person Uncharted 2 (if you use RPCS3) and Uncharted 4
Yeah, I don't know how much Mass Effects held up the years, I'd recommend checking the gameplay a bit before spending £20 or get it on a sale. I went straight into ME2, couldn't get into the characters' stiff faces and can only remember too much dialogue (two characters talking while standing still) and walking around with no fun shooting. Maybe start from the first or ask a friend who knows. I have 6hrs and got to the citadel.
If you want a fun space adventure, but want decent third-person shooter gameplay, I recommend the Mass Effect trilogy. It's one of my favourite game franchises of all time.
Marvel's Avengers isn't unfortunately as good, but you could get it at a really cheap price from a sale.
I recommend the Spider-Man Remastered edition though, it's probably even better than Guardians of the Galaxy.
Midnight Suns is decent too but very different as a game as it focuses on tactical turn based team battles which use an upgradable card deck system.
