Collectibles missing?

So I just played the game into chapter 2 and decided to restart with a new game because I found out I missed a few comm messages and collectibles from chapter 1.

Going through chapter 1 again I got to the first physical collectible, the Ravager Com Bracelet, and destroyed the gunk where it was covered up, but this time it isn't there. Does the game count it as "picked up" even though I started a new game? Where would you check that at, I don't see it on the list of items like Quill's Cassette player, Gamora's sword, etc.

Judging from what went down in my second playthrough, you're credited with anything you found previously.

I discovered that when I went to find one of the outfits, and the box was there, but...opened and no outfit to be seen! :-)

You might want to check out your inventory for any outfits you found previously. For the collectibles presumably they're in your stateroom on the ship, or possibly in the relevant shipmate's stateroom.

Ah thank you! Yes I did notice that the costumes boxes in level 1 were there but open, and that I did have them available. I didn't know the other items would be back on the ship (I haven't gotten there yet.) I was thinking they would be in an inventory I could view or something.
