Did Peter Quill really listen to earth music in the comics?
Did he and how did they portray it in the comics? Also I'd love to know how they curated the kind of music Peter Quill would listen to

In the comic books it's pretty rare to see real world song lyrics, these things don't have 100 million dollar budgets unlike the movies.

Pretty sure this is a MCU rendition of the team since in the comics they are an elite unit that can face the avengers not a rag tag of teams
