!!! Avast antivirus deletes the gotg.exe (without telling so) !!!

My up to date "Avast" antivirus deletes the gotg.exe silently (without telling so) because of "IDP.Generic" infection. You can not play and your are not able to redownload the file.

Added it to exceptions.

This just happened to me aswell. I've never seen Avast just instantly delete an item it quarantined before this either. How absolutely frustrating... thanks avast.

I confirm, avast deleted me the exe file and after verification files it blocked it to download

I managed to get steam to download the exe file again, you have to disable Avast's protection, then initiate the steam download, add it to exceptions whilst it's not protecting you and then you can finally turn it back on. Avast why are you like this

I opened the quarantine yesterday and wanted to restore and add to exceptions. Restore didn't function. But it was added to exceptions. After a PC restart steam could download the file again and it was not deleted.
