You can go into the accessibility options of the game and set the QTE's to auto-win. I did that too because I'm a bit impaired and in this game the QTE's are too hard for me.
Auto-Win Quick Time Events.
That should fix this and any future issues you have with this.
Could use a bit more of a tutorial on some of these, it isn't exactly intuitive.
There'll be some other moments that introduce new QTE mechanics down the road. I've had to replay a few a handful of times before I worked it out.
Normally I'm not that thick-headed, but yeah, it dumps a lot of flashing, blinking, moving things on you all at once, all while timed, so can get a bit confusing.
If it's not that specific QTE, sorry, game has a lot of variations of them. Can try the options mentioned in the above posts.
Took me 10 attempts today then read online that (as someone above has mentioned) you need to wait for it to go green on that first "E" one - that worked.
