Anyone has issues with the two red cubes, too?

I am on the third level and there is a cave to enter pretty much in the beginning. There are two Red Cubes and I am just dying and dying again on them. Either, I am getting something wrong here, or it is almost impossible to kill them without the other team members. I am so pissed right now. And I have beaten every DS-Game except Demon's Souls.

I managed to cheese the fight, by standing on the rock, where you are entering the fighting area.

Are you aware that you can lock onto targets? Try to expose one cube's core and focus fire on it, you should be able to destroy it before it regens.

Cubes are just the first time the difficulty spikes up in the combat, you'll encounter even more challenging enemies later on. My advice is that you train dodging with your rocket boots a lot and use the lock-in feature so you don't accidentally switch between identical looking targets. Towards the end it becomes a necessity to keep track about the elemental vulnerabilities of your enemies and use these against them.

Yes, you are right. I paused the game for a couple of days and forgot about some stuff. So I was not aware anymore of locking on an enemy. After playing for much more amount of hours, I really think it is a great game, but the combat and the controls on a controller are the worst part of this game. I am always opening menus or doing stuff I was not intending to. But thanks for all your help anyway.
