Ray tracing crash solutions?
Clearly there is an issue with some people when enabling ray tracing options crashes the game. I am also one of them. Instead of arguing whether the problem is real or not, I am going to ask if any one has found any solutions/workarounds for this crash.

I am running i9-10850k, 3090 founders edition, 32gigs of ram at 3200mhz.

So far I have tried,
1. running completely on stock, cpu, gpu and ram.
2. Uninstalling driver using ddu and reinstalling driver.
3. Disabling dlss/ray tracing on the options menu in the launch window and enabling inside the game.
4. underclocking vram and gpu core.
5. disabling all overlays including steam/nvidia/rtss.

Also when I crash, there is no message or error code. Just crashes to desktop after about couple minutes of gameplay constantly.

none of these things have worked for me. any other tricks that have worked for you guys?

No errors in Windows event viewer for me, BUT I removed my CPU undervolt, disabled REBAR and restored default clocks for GPU, dunno which one of these helped but I don't have crashes any more, 2+ hours and not a single crash so far.

Perhaps some cards are boosting too high or overclocked too high and causing crashes?

fixed with the patch, seems like it was a vram issue. As soon as I applied a slight overclock on the vram game started crashing again.
