Really? Only 12-15 Hours To Complete
I've been waiting for this game since first announcement...in reading the play hours posts, not so sure now. Price doesn't sit right with me for such a short game. Will wait a few months regardless.

Well it was never going to be an Avengers, there's no way it can compete.

I'm sure others will tell you to just not speed run through the game, but yeah...seems short to me also. Lot's of people don't like longer games anymore like GTA, RDR 2, Witcher 3 or Final Fantasy length games. I still like games that have longevity & not something i can finish within 8hr workshift or two.

About $5/hour is fine for most games. Thats about the same as a movie ticket. Im fine with it if it ends up being that length.

I'm 20+ hours in and not at the end. If you rush through without exploring and conversations, I'm sure you can push it, but what's the point of that? You have to understand that this is a game where the characters practically NEVER stop talking. They are constantly speaking to each other, banter, joking, or whatever. This is so densely packed and atmospheric, I feel like I've been watching 10 movies straight. It's the quality of time, not the amount. This is plenty long for a story.

That's the thing with single player story compaigns. They are tight and not like open world where you spend forever traveling around.

Yep! This is an "old school" Singleplayer game, which i really missed in the past few years. I'm a bit tired of copy paste open world games, except maybe rd2.

it take me around 15 to 17 hours to finish the game trying to do a maximum of things but i missed a lot of costume even if i was searching everywhere.

But this game has a new game + so i supposed i can go back and find what i missed.

I have 19 hours in and I am not finished yet. Also, there are areas you can search and I am sure i missed things too. The hours I have in it are enough to justify the cost especially seeing as the game is fantastic and the most fun i have had in a game in 2021.

Thanks for the spoiler

Took me, according to Steam, 19.2 hours to complete. That's with 100% achievements. I didn't feel like it was too short for the price, but I generally feel that if I spend roughly 20 hours on something and it costs less than an equivalent set of movie tickets, then I got my entertainments worth.

I usually go for $1/hour. Since I paid $50(AUD) I hope I can get 50 hours worth. Not sure It'll go that far though, sadly.

Whenever i see posts such as this I'm often convinced that sometimes the game is as long as you make it, if you're someone who does a speed run, doesn't read the codexs or journal entries, doesn't take their time to explore levels, you're probably gonna knock it out pretty early. I remember someone complaining that Life Is Strange True colours was 8 hours in length while i was just hitting the 10 hour mark.

Yes, imagine 10-15 hours! Because of people like you who cry that the games are too short, developers make trash heaps on 100+ hours.

Where in the world did you get 12-15 hours from. Cause that information is clearly false unless they just rushed through the story as quickly as possible. If you go to "Howlongtobeat", then you will literally see 15 hours be cited under the "rushed" category. Leisure, i.e what you should be doing with a good game, then it's 20 hours.

And this amount of time is very standard for a game. Only really open-world games tend to have longer game time. Just as an example, Devil May Cry, Tomb Raider and Uncharted all have pretty much the same game time for the same price. So I have no idea what you were actually expecting. 50 hours for a linear single player story driven game is just absurd.
