So sick of this, and square enix are one of the worst for PC ports.

So let me start by saying I refunded BUT bought on PS5 instead (ANNOYING since its £10 more expensive on PS5). The game is funny, well written, and a great game, ON CONSOLE.

The PC port is "passable". I literally have TWO pc's that are in the top 1%. But omg the game on PS5 is so smooth, literally zero hitching etc, I presume XBOX users get the same smooth experience..

Yet PC has hitching on EVERY auto save and randomly for no reason, which is OFTEN. I have TWO top of the line PC's. a 3090/5950X system and a full AMD system 6900XT/5800X .

Yet BOTH get drops to just under 90fps @ 1440p with RT off, That is terrible for the power they both have.

Its an embarrassment for square when I would rather play the game on PS5, than either of my PC's. Really I am seriously unhappy, simply because my £350 PS5 , is outperforming my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PC's.

And before people claim Im a console fanboy, PC is by far the superior platform imho, Just not when Square Enix are involved. I should be easily over 165fps MINIMUM and 200 fps average.

The console performance made me refund on PC. <--- for the people that noticed I now dont own the game on Steam. Also my mouse pointer kept ruining the PC version.

Its like they forgot about PC and M&K until last minute. bad port. no fullscreen windowed mode (unless you want a border) and horrible controls. They amount of times I have died because jet boost doesn't active during a jump is getting ridiculous :)

What do you mean no fullscreen how the hell am i supposed to activate GSync game is installing rn got it with a new GPU

there is a toggle for fullscreen and then if that's on you have another for fullscreen exclusive. If you have the first fullscreen option turned off, the game plays in a window with a beautiful window border with menu on top.

You can use GSync and full screen mode. I have been.

Could be that the bad performance on PC is at least partially coming from Denuvo.

I feel like some people just complain without even booting up the game. Runs very well for me, 3080 and 5800x. Playing at 3440x1440 everything maxxed, DLSS Quality and rarely fall below 100 FPS.

If you are on a 3090 and 5950x system, RT off, and still falling below 90 FPS at 1440p, you have done something horrible to your system. Idk what to tell you.

Maybe. My experience with how the game runs were not that bad. I'm on 5900x and a 3080 @ 1440p and I was ~110 fps most of the time with RTX on and it looked great. I did run into some artifacting though and the mouse cursor will occasionally show up when it shouldn't. My main problems are things I listed above.

Most time Smooth, only in area changes here and there are little loading hitches, but apart from that its smooth

Ryzen 5 3600X and RX 5700 XT, runnin perfectly smooth averaging 98 fps going up to 132 on Very High and 1080p. Not sure how much more I could actually want from this and to be able to see the difference at my age. Of course no loading hitches with my M.2 SSD.

My Pc is very good with GTX 380 but is to many stottered.
In video sequences 20 fps or less, this is a worst pc port.
I hate Denuvo and this will be the last time i buy Denuvo Crap Games!

i'm on a 2080 everything maxed DLSS quality with RT and I sit around a comforable 70-80. No stutters no hickups no nothing. Runs perfectly

I have 2070super and the game runs like a dream on high settings. OP must be on hallucinogens.
