Are you ALL on the Latest Graphics Drivers from Nvidia and AMD???
I'm seeing so many people having crashing and graphical issues with the game, but several people that have reported they are on the latest drivers are fine.

So I'd love to know, if you are having problems, have you updated your graphics drivers to the latest version to rectify the issues? Thanks!

Only the latest drivers, are optimized for Guardians of the Galaxy, which is probably why you all are having trouble.

On the contrary, Please DON'T use the current AMD driver. It's confimed broken for GotG. Game runs fine on 21.10.2 instead.

I use an older nvidia driver and have no problems at all.

I use the nvidia driver before the one that came game ready for this game. See no point in updating since it works flawless.

Is that with all cards or just Navi? The only ones I have seen reporting issues have 5x00+ cards.

I am playing a LG c1 that is 4k@120hz but that is too much for most games. Issue I run into is that there are now multiple places for FPS cap, power profile, vsync, and refresh rate settings.

My secret sauce I have found is to hierarchy with different settings to see which is sticking and so they aren't over lapping. For example:

vsync = off everywhere in game and in control panel.
Windows and nvidia control panel = 4k@120HZ
Nvidia Control panel FPS lock 122FPS.
in game cap set to 120FPS
nvidia control panel game to 61FPS! (this is the one I want to play at, 60fps causes tearing)
Nvidia control panel per game power profile to max performance
Windows power profile high performance.

With these settings I stopped having the constant struggle between windows and nvidia control panels multiple power, vsync, refresh, and FPS settings.

I found it ran poorly until i selected 240Hz in the sub settings before the game runs. Runs perfectly now. Butter smooth

RX 6800, Ryzen 7 5800x, 16 GB DDR4 3200 MHz and PCI-E gen 4.0 m.2 1 TB SSD
- 21.10.3 broken lights and shadows, stuttering, screen turns off randomly but great fps
- 21.10.2 a lot of stuttering, screen turns off randomly and happens while minimized, worse fps

I'm tired of all PC games being so far from finished on release day. :steamfacepalm:

i am on the latest drivers and no issues at all in almost 20 hours of play.

I refuse to play until they fix the pop in problem on the pc.

This is unacceptable: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VD-OqdSgLzM&lc=Ugz07t5x9GKKoxnTjtl4AaABAg.9ToAfpS954Z9TzJM5cjUHR&ab_channel=RajmanGamingHD

when you get this on the xbox series x: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W5Ynvmd5uns&ab_channel=GameSpot

Notice how much more pop in within the grass there is on the pc, which is on max settings, compared to the xbox in the opening scene. Terrible.

I'm on the latest drivers.

Using Newest Nvidia and win 10 driver with newest ryzen 5 and x570 chipset drivers. Game runs very well. Game ran very well before I updated the drivers also. No issues for me. I guess I got lucky again.
