Controller prompts wrong

Button prompts coming up for a nintendo switch controller when I'm using an xbox controller.

Same here. It also doesnt detect my controller if i use my keyboard for any reason. i have to restart the game

Yup this is annoying as hell. Came to see if it was an isolated incident but does not look like it.

I also had this problem, it defaulted to the Nintendo face button layout for some reason.

The link that was posted here has the fix. You need to have controller support turned on for whatever controller you're using, then make sure this game has Steam Input enabled.

+1 I have to exit the game. It's literally unplayable until the prompts are properly matched up. It's a crapshoot not knowing what buttons will trigger which responses. It's what I get for buying a AAA game Day 1.

Same issue. Stupid we have to do a workaround. This and the crashing are beyond annoying.
