Singleplayer Insurgent gameplay

When I saw the newest updates I got really excited to see that what I wanted to come to this game came, actually being able to play the insurgents, but then quickly that excitement vanished as I realized it was only multiplayer. I would really love the ability to play an offline match as the insurgence because that would be very cool.

The multiplayer is pretty fun with you managing the insurgents as well as fighting the other guy's insurgents. I literally rushed this guy's base and he got destroyed.

But I do agree. It would be cool if it was singeplayer as well.

Agreed, though I'm quite happy with the game as is. Kinda like how I keep wishing for a tower defense game where I'm the attacker instead. I suppose coding the AI for building and strats is the real limiter.

They should have release the insurgent into single player first tbh. Jumping on multi with no knowledge about insurgence is a terrible experience as you will just get stomp by veteran player.

Well I mean that happens, just got to take a few loses then get better gradually.

Any form of practice mode or overview of the initiatives individually would be nice.

I have no interests playing as the "foreign interests" as the multiplayer has it set up. I would prefer to literally be playing the rebels and focusing on rebels. Its rather tedious to maintain two economies and focus on two maps with two different forces like its set up in multiplayer. It is a very good premise though. Perhaps they felt as though the rebel tab wasnt "good enough" to be a stand alone system. But a lot of people have been wanting it really since the game was released.

The idea of maintaining a zerg thats slightly out of my control sounds interesting.

yeah, since it was announced ive wanted the option to do a campaign as insurgents, weird that its only pvp
