Ideas for the Compulsive shopper and the Trained Monkey advisors
Hey there! loving the game so far.
I got ideas for two advisors tho: the Shopper and the Monkey, are sort of gimmicky, not really meant to be useful, but i think you could, with some slight modifications, make them be both.
For the shopper, why not make him like an inferior micromanager team? the MM team can roll out reforms, even ones you haven't unlocked yet, instantly on a region you set them up at. The Shopper could randomly insta-build improvements on a random region at a random time, for a cost of I think $1 each (this number can be modified for balancing reasons). He would still be a coin toss, but at least one that could prove useful. Perhaps he could have other costs tho, maybe he causes inflation (he pays the building by printing money), so call him "populist architect", or maybe he does so with corruption, so you could call him "foreign contractor".
As for the monkey, I think the monkey should randomly decide the solution of an incident for you, like it does now. but here is the catch: he has 100% of whatever percentage chances the solution he takes are. So if he takes "subtle pressure" which would have low chances, he will insantly succed. But if he takes "cover up" for an airstrike, he will always fail. The strategy with the monkey would be that you would have to decide if you take the shot in something, or he does. For example, when the air strike kill civilians incident happens, you should decide, cause all % chances there are negative, but when the "foreigner is supporting insurgents", you may let him pick it, hoping he chooses subtle pressure and helps you out with that (or maybe he picks publicly accuse and screws you over!). Still a coin flip, but a potentially useful one. It would still be a gimmick advisor, but a potentially tactical one. Also, would change his name to "Lucky Monkey" cause the 100%.
