Crysys 2 Resolution Problem in Windows 8

Hi, I am having problems running Crysis 2 in my windows 8 machine. I own a ATI HD 6870, with the latest drivers but every time I fire up the game it appears windowed, if I go to graphics, resolution appears as undefined and cannot be changed..
Anyone here can give me a hand?

well here is your issue windows isnt out yet really so most games are not formated to it i recomend reverting back to windows 7

Hey, I encountered the same problem, except I'm running a different graphics card. It launches windowed, with a really small resolution, that appears to be custom. I went into the game config file, and it doesn't have any parameters to change for the resolution. It says it can be full screen, and I can change DX to 11 or whatever. Can someone find their crysis 2 game config file a post it here? I think this wouldn't be a problem so long as we can manually write the screen dimensions in manually.

Just go to your graphics settings and turn off DX11 and restart Crysis 2.
