Network Connection Error

Everytime I try to create and account, I says that I have a network connection error.
Please help, I bought this copy from the Humble Bundle

I think its because GameSpy is shut down and Crysis 2 used that for MP. :(

i fix it !!!


a: Make sure your Local Area Network is priority. e.g. ( You might have hamachi as the priority one network).
b: If you have enabled Window's Firewall or any antiviruses, well, disable them all.
c: (VERY IMPORTANT: if your Firewall is disabled re-enable it and disable it back.
d: After the two steps above you should be in CONTROL PANEL/SYSTEM AND SECURITY/WINDOWS FIREWALL. Once there, click on Advance Configuration on the left panel. Now a new window should come up.
e: Now click on INBOUND RULES on the left panel.
f: Look for Crysis 2 and delete all the entries.
g: Now You'll have to create a NEW RULE. All you have to do is click on new rule on the right panel. Choose the last option CUSTOM, hit next.
h: Choose the path of the program. ( Crysis 2 installation folder). Hit next.
i: Just keep hitting next and when you come up to put the name, that doesn't really matter but you should name it Crysis 2.
j: Now that everything is set. It is very important you restart your computer as the changes won't take effect until you re-start. Don't try to re-open the game if you haven't restarted.

I am having the same problem. Followed the steps and there is no change. It still says creating account and just stays at thet point, I guess forever, the longest I have lasted waiting for a result is about 30 minutes. I figure it should take no more than 30 seconds. Getting really frustrated with this purchase.

^ Same here man, I have NEVER been this frustrated over an issue like this, because usually there is a proper legit fix on the internet.
I played Crysis 2 MP on Xbox 360 & I loved it ...I miss it :(

Same issue here, but it appears randomly from time to time. Sometimes i can connect, sometimes not.
