Yep that is pretty much what I took from it, poor Alcatraz.
That's wrong.
Prophet killed himself (due to the Manhattan Virus that he was infected with) after putting the nanosuit on Alcatraz.
The nanosuit keeps copies of the users personalities.
Neither Laurence "Prophet" Barnes or Alcatraz could die yet.
Prophet is now the combined effort of Laurence and Alcatraz.
He didn't take the helmet off.
The suit's nano machines are unlocked and can make more radical changes.
Laurence "Prophet" Barnes died in Crysis 2. The suit thinks it's him and takes on his appearance in Crysis 3.
Ah yes the suit actuall merges with him, I was mistaken, but in essence alcatraz is dead, he even calls himself laurence barnes, they called me prophet.
*Spolier do not click on the link if you have not got to the end of 3, cannot find a vid with just the end sequence.

Alcatraz is technically not dead, he is in there somewhere.
He calls himself Laurence Barnes.
The only time he mentions Prophet is during the infamous qoute:
My name is Laurence Barnes. They called me Prophet.
.......
Remember me.

Possibly Psycho.
Since it looks like he had residual nanomachines in his body after being skinned.
If you watch the bonus ending after the credits in Crysis 3 you can see him moving fast and with night vision without the aid of goggles.
He seems to be enhanced in a similar fashion to Prophet.
It's unlikely we will see Nomad.
Since he apparently died in the comic.
Damm, when was that based, before or after 3? (just as during 3 your told nomad is alive.
Between Crysis 1 and Crysis 2.
6 issues (or one graphic novel) with focus on Prophet, Nomad, Psycho and Helena Rosenthal. Also reveals much of Prophet's backstory
There is an odd conflict
with the intel on Nomad in Crysis 3. It mentions him being hunted by Locketheart, but Prophet killed him in Crysis 2
