Easy way to reduce anti-aliasing related blurring
To anyone just getting Crysis 2, you're probably gonna notice some sort of blurring/soft haze on the screen due to the post process anti-aliasing. You also may have read to disable r_PostMSAA. (i.e. set it to 0)

What you actually want to do is set r_PostMSAAEdgeFilterNV to 0. (be it through the in-game console or through creating an autoexec.cfg file in the main Crysis 2 folder) This will disable FXAA but leave the rest of the game's anti-aliasing intact.

And as an aside, said anti-aliasing actually does a pretty decent job at handling multiple forms of aliasing. Edge-based, alpha textures (like grass and leaves), and subpixel. (mainly lines, such as distant poles and the like, that appear 'broken' due to aliasing) It's no proper MSAA, but it gets the job done pretty well regardless.
