Crysis 2 Map editor and playing with friends

I have two questions.
First when can i get the Crysis 2/ Crysis 2 maximum edition mad editor(or however it is called)?
Second, I know that gamespy servers went down, but is there any way to play friends only?

Firstly,the editor is not available now, unless someone has it lying around on their drive somewhere and Secondly nope the game was hard coded to use the gamespy servers. Multiplayer is totally dead unless someone beings out a 3rd party patch which is unlikely, but crysis 1 just got one, so you never know.

Thanks for the answear, much appreciated, sad really, it used to be such a good map editor, it could have been fun with friends.
Also does Crysis 3 have a map editor?

crysis 1 multiplaye rcontinue to run , u just need to download a "mod" for online :P

Yes but we are talking about crysis 2, I was simply pointing out that unless someone brings out a patch, Crysis 2 mutliplayer is dead, but that someone maybe working on a patch somewhere as a new co-op patch for crysis 1 just came out, so its possible in future crysis 2 will become multiplayer again.
