CD Keys/Online?
For some reason Steam won't let me view my CD Key for this game? I'm aware some sh*t went down between Steam and EA games, to prevent exploiting the EA plus subscription for free codes, but I never had any such EA subscription. I bought the game here on Steam, and it's in my library, yet I can't see the CD key code for it. I can, however, view the CD Key for other non-EA games, such as Doom 3. I care because the key is required for Crysis 2 Multiplayer (I'm hoping it still works).
So, my question is:

1) What gives?
2) How can I access my CD Key?

EA removed all CD keys from their games on Steam on February 6th, you can't get them anymore. Crysis 2 Multiplayer doesn't work ever since 2014 when GameSpy was shut down.

So i can´t add this game to my Origin-Client anymore ?
Happy that i did years ago and so i can play Crysis 2 on Steam AND Origin.

Bad move of EA, like we all know that EA acts often in that way. Against the buyers and players.

It is most unfortunate, but is not EA's fault. You see, there was a major exploit where you could buy a game on Steam, redeem the code on Origin, and then once you refund the game on Steam you would still keep it on Origin, at least for a while. Once somebody figured this out, people were sharing it online. The issue became much worse once EA's new subscription service took off, because opportunistic subscribers could access a whole ton of EA games on Steam, sell the codes (redeemable on Origin) online, and make a fortune. EA/Steam had to stop all of this, and unfortunately their solution was to just remove the codes entirely. Blame the people who abused the hole just as much as EA for not finding a better solution.
