Crysis 2 crashing at Prism load .

I have the game on Steam and Origin , and whenever I started game on Steam Origin would startup and the game played there for some reason . Game crashes at the same spot every time on both sites . Uninstalled game on both sites and reinstalled on Steam only and the game still crashes at the same spot . Only bought the game on Origin because it was a package deal for Crysis 3 included which S--ks. Anyone know of a solution ? Played thru years ago and never had this problem . Any help would be appreciated , and Thanks in advance !

@Destruction, thank you brother. I'm glad it worked for you.
Unfortunately, I had already done that but it didn't work. My Crysis 2 works for a long time, it only crashes when I get to the PRISM mission.

I encountered exactly this problem too previously. I tried it on two separate machines with the same result. Machine 1: Win-7 x64, Intel Core i5-750, NVIDIA GTX650 TI BOOST 2GB, 12GB RAM. Machine 2: Win-10 x64, Intel Core i7-4700HQ, NVIDIA 750M 4GB, 16GB RAM. I even tried to delete the last saved games in case the file would be corrupted, as some people suggested, but without success. Any solution to the problem? What are the hardware specs of the systems where this bug occurs?

Had the same problem and found no other solutions online so in the main menu click Campaign > Replay Mission > Eye of the Storm. You won't lose your nanosuit upgrades, but will start the level with only a grendel-rifle and a nova pistol.

Sorry attila, I could never fix it. The solution was to get Crysis 3 LOL.
Thanks Lathomen. I tried to replay from before but, arrived to that point, it keeps crashing.
