DX11 features not working.
For some reason, turning on DX11 (and restarting the game) seems to have no visual impact in the game.
Neither tessellation nor parallax occlusion mapping seems to work.

I'm not sure what's wrong.

Here are my specs (I get constant 60 FPS on Ultimate settings at 4K resolution):

OS: Windows 10 Pro
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti (11GB)
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz
RAM: 16GB

Somehow it's a Windows 10 issue. I run a ATi RX470.
I had to disable dx11 because of a disturbing overscan and reduced refreshrate to 24p.
With dx9, it's fine (that's a rhyme).

Yeah, I had to disable DX11 too, but it gets rid of the fancy effects like POM and Tessellation.

do you mean the ingame options show as enabled, dx11 as active? try the high resolution textures addon?

when the tesselation scandal happened a few years ago, wireframes were shown, so i assume the console lets you turn on wireframes, this way you can prove if tesselation is working, but remember only certain objects have it

Have the same problem with 24p (Panasonic TV 50", Nvidia GTX 1080), but solved it with
locked game.cfg.

r_Driver = "DX11"
r_fullscreen = 0
r_Height = 1440
r_Width = 2560
sys_highrestex = 1
sys_spec = 4

Start always with "r_fullscreen = 0" in window mode.
Ingame over options -> set fullscreen to on, change to 2560x1440 and applay!!

It´s working for me.

But I can´t say that I could see DX11, I never see Tesselation or Pom?
I think only if you use Ultra Setting DX11 features are on!?

hello, several hours ago I was trying to solve this problem,now I got a idea and I want to share this solution to whom has this problem

just simply add -dx9 to your steam launch options and you will see your game launched!
but you should notice that you must install dx9 before,if not,go for it.

ps: input -dx9 and do NOT add Space.
