What happened to NanoWars?

I tried to download NanoWars, the standalone Crysis 2 multiplayer mod, but the files I tried to download are not existing anymore. What happened?

i assume they simply moved onto other games. Looking at their server list, there are no servers currently online. So it would seem they simply took their mod down as it was no longer played. Though I am simply guessing.

They have a facebook page though, so why not post on there?

Oh, I don't use Facebook. I don't use any social media whatsoever. I only use Hotmail and Gmail. Is there any way to communicate with them via mail?

Erm. no idea. I did not look too much I just looked at their webpage, from the brief look it appears just facebook.

i found this forum after using google. However its a very old forum post, though the forum itself appears active, and it was created by the devs of the mod, so you may get some luck.
