Crysis 2, is fun in eazy mode, but becomes too stupid to play in medium/hard mode

In Medium/Hard mode. When you are up against a boss the game will spawn 3 enemies directly behind you the second you fire a rocket at the boss. The boss will require 3 rockets and 3 loads of C4 to take down, 6 firings. OK, but When you fire a weapon, the game takes away all your power for armor & stealth, and spawns 3 enemies right behind you that simply kill you before you can do anything. Even if you can make a break for it, all you have are small arms which are pathetically ineffective on enemies. And then due to the very stupid checkpoint saving, you have to start all over from the last checkpoint. Which makes the game boring as well as stupid. Doom understands this stuff and is FAR more fun in any mode because you can hotkey save AND edit the properties file to give yourself more power, armor, and make the small arms MUCH more effective. So this makes the more difficult levels fair and fun. Cant do that in Crysis 2. You can edit the file but the game overwrites it. So although the game was really fun in easy mode, the game gets too stupid to continue about half way through in medium/hard mode. So its not worth full price, because you cannot enjoy the full game. Wait until an $8 fire sale.

Ive played it all the way through on medium no problem, not tried hard though.

lol i beat it on veteran and had no problems at all except for the pingers, those things are a ♥♥♥♥♥ to take down

Not quite a dig at the op, but there are quite a few threads like this on multiple games, quite oftern if its not a bug, its simply down to the players skill is just not good enough for that difficulty level, its just the way it is, some people are better at gaming than others.

For instance I am rubbish at racing games, no idea why, perhaps lack of patience, but I do not blame the difficulty of the game, i know I am just terrible at racing games.

Some people think they should automatically be great at every game, if they get stuck its the games fault, not that they actually need to practise more and simply get better at the game.
