Take a good long look at the actual first post. "I even restarted the checkpoint and it does the same thing over and over."
Now observe.
I never had any issues relating to story progression in Chapter 2 it's a real bummer when things like that happen. There was one with Mott when he wouldn't open the door to the Safe haven after dealing with a couple of the Taken. Turns out one of them had safely bugged out on a cliff inaccessible to the player or ally which really sucked I had to reload the checkpoint. Sucks that you needed to restart the ENTIRE episode. :C
