If you dislike spoilers, don't look for it online before seeing it in the game. Part of the fun for me was the surprise.
Thank you for the heads up my dude, i am in 2 minds to look it up or not. I really want to play AW2 but I want it here on steam, personal reasons (not hate for epic). Have a PS5 but I only buy PS5 games on that which is kinda pointless now that they are coming to PC haha.
Thank you man, appreciated!
WHEN AW publishing rights are back with Remedy I'm pretty sure they'll release it on Steam (along with the aw1remake) and make some extra bucks. Sadly, AW2 struggled to make benefits so it will take some time...
I know the whole story behind, AW1:R and AW2 and I already know that EPIC funded it. I hope Remedy does get control of it fully. So all in all, you cannot say it "wont happen" if it "CAN" when they "gain control" haha.
I've noticed gamers collectivizing and actually making a difference in regards to DRM. Earth Defense is an example. I really think gamers need to gear up to organize the next Alan Wake game. Everything else aside - games don't need to be bloated AAA movie-games. It's not what the industry was founded on. And if they need to rely on these crazy schemes to stay afloat, evidently it's not sustainable. Gotta stop giving these people money.
There are awesome indie devs out there making amazing games that don't insult you in every possible way. People who genuinely care about the health of the industry need to evaluate where they put their money, and I say this as a programmer.
Oh, I know there are AWESOME indie devs out there making some of the best and most amazing games that dont insult us haha, I love my indie games.
Personally, that is why I never bought AW2. I wanted to, I was about to but I just stopped myself. Wasn't going to support that, not at the time anyway.
