- two extra episodes as DLC (The Signal and The Writer, both very good)
- a shorter prequel, Alan Wakes American Nightmare
- and all kind of really interesting stuff in the collector's edition
So there is something to keep you busy for a while, but as for mods: no go.
Almost! The devs just didn't build the game engine with modding in mind. Once the engine was built, it would have required too much work to make it moddable.
It's a separate story which doesn't answer any question about what happened to Alan, Alice, Barry and the others. You could say "Yeah, but some of them are present in this game!", but this is not how they'll really end up after the original story.
Anyway, this topic is not about debating what the game is or not, so post in one of the existing topics on this matter if you would like to talk about it.
SPOILER ALERT
Oh, and I suppose the fact the manuscript is called Return is related to M. Scratch's "return" as a physical character.
By the way, Departure -> Return.
i dont get it
Well there is 2 mods 1.Makes your flashlight hello kitty style 2.You get a mike tyson thing on your face
BUT no one can have them except the moders because they make the game 3gb when it is originally 2.6gb so they cant distribute it :( i wanted someone to make a Machine gun mod
Lol, would be so contrary to the whole idea of the game ;-)
