Yeah, pretty much one of my all-time favorite games. Too many games neglect writing and story these days. I wish Remedy would make a sequel.

I find the game to be hard and currently being stuck at defend the viewing platform ... it's sad since I really play this for the story more then the challenge. It's a good game but I wished it's went easier on me.

Tips:

Try to remember the sequence of where they appear and run to the opposite point of that area so that you keep the kidnapper between them and you.... worked for me eventually. Use the flares to give you enough time to reload the batteries. And also use them to burn the enemies 2 or 3 at a time once youve hit them with the torchlight and they explode. Its quite easy.

I love it too <3, played it on 360, but once i got my pc , man almost totally different game, so realistic now, its so beautiful, especially the parts in the apartment and the part when its about to rain, gorgeous game, im the kind of person where i will leave the scree idle if i see an atmostphere in a game that i feel chill with and just leave it there for a while, its gorgeous

I agree. The atmosphere is where Alan Wake shines its brightest.
