there is no aiming reticle in the first game wtf?

The torch is the reticle, like... the torches narrow cylinder shaped beam of light is the reticle, there will be a circle shaped light at the end of the cylinder shaped beam of light when you shine your torch on an object which acts as the reticle. The reticle in this game is unique, its not a traditional kind of reticle.
Hold down LT halfway to aim, hold down LT all the way to both aim and also make the torch stronger (which uses up its battery)

hmm ok thanks. I think i was using up my torch battery when i aimed so i stopped but i will try again and see if it makes more sense. Tricky after playing the sequel haha
