Well sure but if you want to challenge monopolies then you have to give them some valid competition. I would like to try the game but I am not buying it on Epic, simple as that. I will wait until it comes to Steam and if it doesn't... well I will just console myself with the dozens of games I already own that I still really want to play lol
I'm sad because I can't play it on my pc or steam deck, I've played the game on PlayStation, for me is the best game of 2023, you don't have the capacity to see it does not change nothing, why the ♥♥♥♥ you guys think that your trash taste will make me less sad about the game is not on my favority platform? how?
"Hey man, I don't like that game so, you don't have to play it" - Ass, Dumb
pls don't interact with me anymore.
"your trash taste" says the guy having a meltdown because I don't like Boring Walking Simulator 2023. Pure hypocrisy.
Sadly, it's not even a good walking simulator either because the writing is so bad.
Again, my meltdown, nicely classified by the way, it's not from the existence of your trash taste, everyone has a trash taste, it's from the fact that you little prince, thinks that your trash tase is the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ last taste of the universe, and your insignificant opinion matters, and you not even get it that in a post that someone clearly likes the game, your opinion from someone that not like it, means nothing, Get it now?
once more, please don't interact with me.

You xenophobe, you don't even have a level to talk to me, 24? puff... go gitgud first, then your opinion will metter.
LOL your only 100% are tell tale games?? pathetic xenophobe.
ps. I'm proud of who I am and where I came from and what I've done, the same ♥♥♥♥ you do I can do, so I ask you, are you proud of yourself? Your mom is proud of you?
Did you look at my profile and think that being Brazilian would be something I would find bad? I went to yours and saw that you are nothing.
Because I didn't check any reviews priror ,I didn't know that they changed the genre of the game, I thought it was same as the first one, an action game. But they turned it into survival horror, I don't like it. I endured myself for 5 hours and decided it was not for me. It's a great quality game who enjoys this genre.
However that being said I don't forsee Epic EVER publishing this game to Steam themselves. I think Sweeney hates Steam (Valve) and considers Valve itself Epic Games biggest competitor. Maybe GOG but even then the inclusion of always online for a single player game is not a good sign. Its mostly on Remedy themselves they are trying to grow past what their products are able to deliver in the short run they're able to get funding for games like Control or Alan Wake 2, I'll live opinions aside for these two games but the budgets on these games are not small and well above a studio like Remedy's punching weight. They have to make garbage deals like they do with companies like Epic and 505 in order to make these kind of games but I don't think it will pan out for them because they're severely alienating their customers and causing distrust with their customers as well when they agree to do things like always online or console exclusive DLC or whatever else for a quick buck.
The ultimate issue is that their games don't sell that well single player games in general don't make the same kind of money that FTP live service hits do and it requires enormous budgets for the games like Elden Ring which can break that threshold. On top of it they make horror and slower paced games which don't have the same mainstream appeal as Souls like or FPS games. Ultimately where Remedy is right now and the deals they make are a consequence of the market.
All that being said as a huge Remedy fanboy who loved everything they did up until Control (and maybe Quantum Break too) I hate the direction of this company, I can't blame them but at the same time I've lost faith in the company, I think they need to reevaluate their business decisions and scope if they want to survive in the future as a game developer because this path I don't believe will be viable for them. Its only a matter of time before they go under with these deals and the budgets they are requiring for the visual wow they are looking for with these games.
At least they have a solid looking engine for future games now but IDK what "new thing" they'll be able to do with it tbh.
