What WERE the Devs thinking (Alan Wake 2) ?

There is no shoebox(Item Box) before fighting the Cynthia boss. So I got stuck with a pistol and crossbow with two bolts, the game just AUTO SAVES anyway. So I had to revert to an hour ago...

Also one of the animations is broken, I keep getting hit by one attack, I cannot even stand up.

And even then there are bugs that need to be sorted.

Maybe they could check out forums instead of DISCORD?

You weren't prepared for that fight. You missed a lot of resources you could have collected before you got to that stage of the game. You should have the rifle, shotgun, flares, and some of the charms you get for solving the Nursery Rhyme puzzles plus 2 of the inventory upgrades that are in cult stashes. You should have found enough lunch boxes to upgrade your weapons. You can always reduce the difficulty as a last resort, but that fight is difficult anyway.

This. There was no instance where I *didn't* have all my Shotgun/Rifle stuff on me at any given time. Plus given the whole overlap thing you were heading into anyway it seemed pretty obvious what was coming up.

This harkens back to the days of this genre in RE and Silent Hill too.
Seemed fine to me here and you had even more of a heads up and enough gear to tackle these fights by comparison to how Survival Horror Bosses usually operated back in the day.

I replayed the fight and beat it ...(Normal)

But this game keeps draggin on and ond on and on...
