LOL
There are two points.
1. Add "C:\Program Files\Epic Games\AlanWake2\AlanWake2.exe" to launcher as Non-Steam game.
2. (IMPORTANT) Kill the process EpicGamesLauncher.exe before launching AlanWake2.exe
It's a pain to have to do this every time, but it can't be helped.
I will try it
after doing step 1, go into the properties of that and change the shortcut target to:
and delete anything in "Start in"
You will no longer have to do step 2, won't need EGS running to start it either.
Sorry but that do not work!
You pasted that whole thing I gave into this spot?

Because it works every time for me.
I will test this with Steam Link (Remote Play) later. Especially the controller support.
Mess with the Steam controller settings, its likely the cause.
Thanks for the tips, I'll give this a shot since I really want to play the game via Steam Link
and there's no indication of it arriving on Steam any time soon.
How does the game generally fare via Steam link, is it graphically stable and responsive controls-wise?
First of all, the person I am responding to also does not own Alan Wake 2 on Steam.
Second of all experience with other games from EGS, GOG, and even with Steam at times.
