Try asking on the EGS forums, I'm sure there is someone there who can help you

I managed to play Alan Wake 2 on Steam Link.
There are two points.

1. Add "C:\Program Files\Epic Games\AlanWake2\AlanWake2.exe" to launcher as Non-Steam game.
2. (IMPORTANT) Kill the process EpicGamesLauncher.exe before launching AlanWake2.exe

It's a pain to have to do this every time, but it can't be helped.

after doing step 1, go into the properties of that and change the shortcut target to:

com.epicgames.launcher://apps/c4763f236d08423eb47b4c3008779c84%3A93f2a8c3547846eda966cb3c152a026e%3Adc9d2e595d0e4650b35d659f90d41059?action=launch&silent=true

and delete anything in "Start in"

You will no longer have to do step 2, won't need EGS running to start it either.

Ahh, now it work, thank you for the screenshot.
I will test this with Steam Link (Remote Play) later. Especially the controller support.

Thanks for the tips, I'll give this a shot since I really want to play the game via Steam Link
and there's no indication of it arriving on Steam any time soon.

How does the game generally fare via Steam link, is it graphically stable and responsive controls-wise?

How would know? You don't own the Alan Wake on Steam and you are here trying to tell user that :)

First of all, the person I am responding to also does not own Alan Wake 2 on Steam.

Second of all experience with other games from EGS, GOG, and even with Steam at times.
