Where can I buy the remastered edition?
Looking at the store page it seems as if this is the original release from 2012. Does anybody know where I can buy a digital copy of the remastered edition for PC? Thanks!

It's not on Steam, you can get it off PSN, Epic Store, or Xbox Live.

Basically zero. The remaster was funded and published by Epic Games, just as the sequel will be.

Bought it outside of steam and it looks way better than the original and I havent encountered any issues so im gonna call this a win.

happy for you, it was based on people posting issues here on steam forums saying controls are broken, movements are crap etc. But It seems like it is only with people who played the original. If you haven't played the og (I am not sure if you did) you might not find the controls broken.

A physical copy of the game was sold at one point. I have the boxed game in disk format. You might be able to find that.

Nah it has other issues, if you're on a AMD CPU then you get artifacts all over the screen, textures stretching all over the place, screen going black with bright white lights appearing and disappearing, etc. It's been like that since launch and still hasn't been addressed.

Come to think of it. I had issues with the steam version long ago. I used Radeon HD 6770 in crossfire. I always had some type of issue with quality and lighting. It had like weird lines in the lights.

I than switched them out for a GTX 690. So much better in every way and no more issues. Due to many other reasons I stopped using AMD all together. Things have been way better for gaming since.

I dont think they will fix the remaster now that AW2 is coming out.

This is tied to Ryzen CPUs in the case of the Remaster, i got the Remaster when it first came out and had the issues i described on a 5600x + 3070. Yesterday i downloaded the Remaster again thinking it would be fixed by now and i could play it to get refreshed for 2. This time i have a 5800X3D + 4070 Ti, all the same issues still present making the game unplayable. So just like last time i'm back to the OG version.

Two different builds, one used at release, and one used yesterday. This is what i get every time.

This is tied to Ryzen CPUs in the case of the Remaster,

I dont think its tied to Ryzen CPU. Here is a 5950x and game looks to be running just fine. Id check your system to figure out why its happening.

Usually when you get corruption issues like that. Its a possible sign of GPU defect, bad PSU, or BIOS. Need to do some troubleshooting to figure out the cause.

I know back in the day a lot of people had PSU issues when this first released on steam. From the looks of it that is some bad corruption indeed and could be a power issue to GPU. Maybe same thing has followed over to the remaster.

Listen sample size 1 fanboi it has nothing to do with my PC being faulty, it plays every other game perfectly fine, it runs Starfield and Cyberpunk maxed at 1440p fine.
