As much I love AW and Control and Remedy in general, if without Epic AW2 couldn't be made, then it doesn't need to be made. Period.
Epic's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ attitude towards Linux is absolutely downright deplorable, and that's just one reason they aren't the good people here in this story.
If you want to spin around steam for all your gaming life, good for you. But don't expect anyone else to do the same, let alone suffer when some games are not coming to steam. Most of use are not steam fanboys, and we want AW2 to happen regardless if it's on steam or not.
And about linux, Epic may not have a super active roles in supporting the platform. But that doesn't mean the company is evil, it's just business. I'd rather epic improve their foothold on one platform first than doing half-baked job to support all platforms.
It is also pointless for you people to complain about epic not supporting linux, because I'm 99.9% sure you won't use epic even if they do support Linux. Heck, judging by your first statement alone, I know that you steam fanboys would rather see the whole world burns than seeing epic making profit from it.
Greedy Fks, that's why.
Yep
Exactly
100% agree
100% correct,
:)
Most people would buy from epic. But regardless how small the gog sales will be, it still hurt epic sales because some of those sales would be directed to epic store if the game is epic exclusives.
I also hope epic would release AW2 on gog just because gog and cdpr is nice enough to release Witcher3 and cyberpunk on epic.
Who is timmy the tencent?
Did he cry about csgo or dota2 not on epic store?
Then you should be okay waiting until AW2 become DRM free and release on GOG.
Also why do you have yakuza franchise on steam? I thought gog people will buy games only when they're DRM free? Did your arguments about gog vs epic are nothing but a lip service to hide the fact that you're a steam fanboys like some people here?
When can we expect csgo, dota2, elden ring, persona 5 etc on epic store?
TLDR; Greed
In my eyes they just don't want our money, Epic is horrible and pretty much everyone hates it.
If that's the only way AW2 could be built then fine. The world revolves around capitalism, and I have other games to play which are and will be equally good or better; even if AW2 turns out to be as excellent as we all hope it will be.
Could not agree more
Don't worry though, there are just a very few 'handfull' of guys pushing Epic's dirty agenda on steam forums. They have a certain motive to push and they fail to do so :)
I know you guys have limited brain capacity because it's filled up with so much rage against epic, but try to think for a second there.
Not everyone. Most epic haters have been moved on since epic offer them free games. And there are consoles people who never cared about steam vs epic.
Tldr, epic haters are just a relic from 3 years ago, and your numbers keep dwindling.
Free games are just a distraction to make people forget how bad Epic is, I don't fall for it.
I would rather buy my games instead of resorting to other means but yeah, their choice.
I thought I was the one didn't like the remaster, remaster does not look good, I have 4090 and and I had it to full max settings. It looks shait, junky controls, I play first one and really enjoyed it, remastered one I refunded :) if it was on steam I probably would have left it in my library but it was on Epic hence the refund.
AW2 , not buying it now. Until Steam release, if it doesn't release on steam well too bad. No remedy game going forward.
