The Alan Wake remaster is on sale right now. I go to buy it and enter my card info and it seems to accept it without errors, but then when I actually hit the Purchase button I get a msg saying "We're having trouble processing your request. Try again later."
Been trying all day. Same crap keeps happening. I can use my card on Steam, Amazon, the gas station down the road... wtf Epic?
Steam fanboys triggered by facts. News at 10!
Besides, who's hating on Linux? As far as I can see others are just saying it has a very low player count and terrible adoption rate. Especially For something that is free for the past 3 decades. Still, no one uses it barely anyone uses it.
Maybe if developers and programmers made it as user friendly as Macs and Windows. There wouldnt be such a separation between them.
Even on Steam Deck you need to tinker a lot with the games to run on proton. Even if verified. You cant just click play. Thats a big issue.
No one wants to open a console command to have to input a line of code/s to install drivers. Thats the way Linux is. So again, until its more user friendly. The amount of people using it will be low.
Have you played the Original? Play the original on steam
Same goes for when i "have" to use Edge to look at a website. Do i need to decline Edge taking over default browser every time? Why are they even asking me? I have default browser set and it is not Edge so quit freaking asking me with a popup.
M$ is in decline. And it is their own fault.
Save Hacker => CSGO Bad Steam . Epic games very good Exclusive y AAA (Not Linux) y (Not mods) .
->Steam linux =>Save Hacker : Dota 2 , CSGO , PUBG , VPN , . Very bad steam
alan wake 2 Unreal engine 5 x Epic games (Not linux).
what is you "NO" = Steam ?
very good epic games nice "jesus"
Chinese hacker and linxus => Steam baia baia "Locked"
I see you are one of those Win 7 users still. Well, at least you are speaking like someone who is still stuck on that OS.
If you are getting reminders every 2 weeks, and pop ups under Windows 10/11. Or cant properly configure what media player you want to use. You clearly do not know how to configure default programs and notifications.
If you cant properly set up simple Windows settings. Am I really supposed to believe you know how to use Linux.
A company with over $2.4 Trillion in market value is in decline. Just because you cant properly set up Windows? Oh ok.
Yeah, it's so dumb because I brought the Dead Space Remake here on Steam just a few hours later with the same card. No issues. I was really stoked about getting the Remaster and pre-ordering 2, but nope. I'll probably try again whenever 2 comes out, but I'm not hopeful, tbh. :/
And yes, I have the original on xbox 360 and I love it! Truly a gem. I have fond memories of running over possessed lumberjacks with my truck, haha.
I never played American Nightmare though. I plan to get both on Steam whenever they go on sale again.
Do you use VPN? Sometimes that can be an issue with some stores.
You can also try clearing your browser history for EGS to clear out all data and cookies. Than refresh the page, log in and try again.
You can decide for yourself, but Remaster is not really worth it on Epic in my hubble opinion.
Looking forward to AW2 but I won't be getting it on Epic Store ;) there are always issues with that store
xbox will be my way to go after I see good reviews.
I bought Dragon Age Inquisition in 2017 from the Origin Store. Now I don't even have Origin installed on my PC.
The best option is always to let the player decide where to play.
No but...
That's a good idea. If that doesn't work, I suppose I could try with a different browser like Edge.
Well I do have an Xbox One tucked away but I'd much rather have it on PC. Still, that is an option I suppose if the Epic store is still giving me trouble.
100% fact.
That's what makes pc the best platform. Developers can sell their games anywhere. There is no restrictions from platform owner like consoles or mobile.
Oh and you can actually merged all your game libraries using playnite or gog galaxy.
