Agree for the most part, except for the models.
So, OP, if you aren't really picky about graphics, I highly recommend to grab Alan Wake Franchise pack on Steam. If anything, don't worry about the DLCs, they are already included in the Steam version. Also, I am not sure if remaster comes with extra goodies that are on Steam (Collector's Edition Extra and Bonus Materials).
I decided to check on Alan Wake after playing Remedy's Control Ultimate Edition. A lot of references in Control to Alan Wake and Bright Falls made me decide to finally play this game.
However since I can play the game on Xbox in 4K resolution with some additional content, I decided to go with the Remastered Edition instead on console instead of settling for the original version that first came out in 2012.
The standalone game American Nightmare is also on Gamepass(PC as well as Xbox) but I am thinking of playing it on my Xbox instead of PC since that version actually has achievements unlike the PC version.
AWAN has achievements on Steam, but not on EG.
