How Do You Reset Manuscript Pages?

Hey so how do you reset your manuscript pages on a replay of this game. I remember that once you picked up a collectible it doesn't appear in the spot it normally does on a first playthrough. And I wanted to show this game to some friends and those pages are kind of story relevant depending on where they are in the game world.

Do I just have to delete the save data on my main drive, delete steam cloud saves, and if it's the later what is the games Steam ID number so I can find said cloud saves. Also once saved are deleted do I need to give the game a fresh install afterwords? Would really appreciate the help.

I just did this recently for the same reason, this is what you do:

1. Disable Steam Cloud in the properties of Alan Wake.
2. Delete local save at "<Steam-folder>/userdata/<user-id>/108710/"

Enjoy collecting coffee thermoses and manuscript pages again! Nightmare will be locked again, so you won't be able to collect the nightmare pages until you complete the game on a lower difficulty first. But maybe there is a way to do nightmare right away from a fresh save? Anyone know?

Pages always appear, you just don't get the "Press F5 to read this page" popup for pages you've picked up before.

It's thermoses that don't re-appear.

Yes, manuscript pages always appear, but you can't tell if you have found them all again on a new playthrough because they are all available already in the manuscript menu, instead of being shown as "Missing Page”
