Camera angle
is there a way to play with a "center" camera view ? The side angles are really annoying.

Also, is everyone keeping the same key for dodge and run ?

TIA

No, there's no way to center the view with mouse/keyboard and it's annoying AF. Apparently it's better with a gamepad, I intend to try that out later as running at an angle is insanely frustrating.
I do hVW controller but I only use it with racing games. Not sure I would like aiming with it. (never owned a console in my life)

No you can use TAB to change shoulders but increasing or decreasing the FOV doesnt help either. Its just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ off center. The game feels like its meant from M and KB. Feels great, the camera is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to all hell

I set the FOV at max and it is acceptable now. I dont understand why they dont let the player choose de camera angle, very weird decision.
At least now I can play the game
The controls are strange, unlike anything I've ever seen before. For me, the hardest thing to get used to is the way the character runs towards the flashlight beam rather than to whatever is in the centre of the screen, like every other game I've ever played. It makes running across narrow things really frustrating.

To me, the mark of a poorly designed 'action' game is where you spend more time fighting the interface then the mobs.
really? despite any trivial animation you basically run in the direction of the aiming reticule, the same as every other 3rd person shooter.
Perhaps turn aim assist off in controls, which is meant for gamepads, control felt less laggy with mouse after I did this.

I have no aiming reticule. I guess I will have to check the options.

Yes, it is. It is the screen element that conveys where your shots are going. That's like saying the Serious Sam reticule isn't a reticule because it moves.

This has made the game almost unbearable.. Guess it will just go back to sitting on the shelf of my Library.. ffs
You get used to it after an hour or so. Basically you ignore what Alan does and only use the end of the flashlight to focus on.
The odd angle is a artistic decision on the part of the game developers. It's called a 'dutch angle' and is usually used(particularly in horror) to disorient the viewer(or, in this case, player).

Just constanly type tab and it will be centered

:D great answer
Kangourou, don't look at Alan, look in front of him, and switch shoulder to right. That all helped me
