GOG version DLC
Does the version of GOG have all of the things that the dlcs on steam does? I want the things in the Bonus Material and Collectors Edition DLCS but I'm not sure if the GOG version has them or not.

It looks like the gog version lacks the bonus materials and the soundtrack. but it does have the night springs episodes and the writer in the cabin episodes that the steam version doesnt. I was really stuck on my decision but I chose steam since it included alot of the design documents, which I feel is the better thing to have.

Like the specific bonus content listed for the Steam DLC or it just has bonus content? I know it already has bonus content. Just don't know if it's all the same content that Steam has.

The episodes on GOG I think are uploaded on YouTube anyway aren't they?

The Alan Wake Humble Bundle from a couple years ago contains a ton of bonuses (dunno if all) and FLAC soundtrack, if that helps you

I bought mine from HumbleBundle. Worth mentioning you also get Steam key and DRM free copy via Humble.

This is interesting, since Steam and GoG offers quite different bonus stuff

Lemme list them all quite quick:

Steam:
-Developer Commentary Videos
-Illustrated PDF Book
-Soundtrack
-Bonus videos
-Visual exploration
-Graphic novels
-Note by note
-Lost pages

GoG
-Manual
-Wallpaper
-Making of videos (3)
-Writer in the Cabin videos (7)
-Nightspring Episode (9)
-Poets of the Fall - War MV
-Alan Wake Files book

Looks like the only way to get all of these goodies is buying both version lol

I guess the game is on Sale at Humble Store too but I don't know if it still contains all the extras.

Yep. That's what I ended up doing lol. Just bought both since, 1. I want everything before I can't get it all, and, 2. Remedy is one of my favorite studios so I'm fine with supporting them with more money.

this ( http://i.imgur.com/kg4h70Q.jpg ) is what's displayed in what I purchased through Humble. Seems you can also DL the soundtrack for both games. Only Alan Wake contains FLAC as well as MP3 though.

Anybody knows about the extras for the version sold at the Humble Store? Judging by the store page it looks like it's the same as the Steam version of the game.

EDIT: thanks Spacedeck, that's exactly the information I've been looking for.

So it seems that the version sold at Humble Store is still the best deal to buy this.
