File IO failure: createDirectoryFailed, error code 5

The message appears at the very first run. Could anybody help with this?

Try verifying the game files, secondly reboot the system to launch Steam freshly.
If this fails try running the game as an administrator.

I'm not sure but it seems connected with the Russian localization because the full message is

"File IO failure: createDirectoryFailed, error code 5

C:\Users\Сергей\" while the user name is cyrillic

Try having a look in forums for the game "control" it is also made by Remedy and also has this issue for some users.

El error yo tambien lo presentaba y el error se debe a que el nombre de usuario de su equipo lleva alguna tilde o Ñ el error se soluciona cambiando el nombre de usurio de se PC y no le funciona de esa manera debido a que la carpeta de usuario no se cambia el nombre deberia crear otro usuario con un nombre q no tenga tildes ni Ñ .

A mi asi me funciona un pequeño aporte de lo q a mi me funciona espero q a ustedes tambien le sirvan
