post-game chapters special 1 and 2?

I noticed that if I went into extras and chapter select there was a special one and a special II. These were not automatically given on completion of the game but they were accessible through this menu. I started playing special one and it seems like a continuation of the main storyline. I don't find it as interesting or compelling to play but I'm intrigued whether other people found these.. whether they played them and how they felt about it.

So i kept playing it and i got more into it. It is more challenging then the original story and more varied. Each section plays differently and has little repetition of themes. This is what i remember Remedy was good at from the Max Payne series. if anyone hasn't played the specials yet i recommend it. There are some really unique and cool sequences that are quite atmospheric and new mechanics brought it.

Warning: it does contain some platforming. I know this annoys people and maybe that is why they left it in as a special.

In any case, it gives a more complete ending to the game and explains what happened to Alan after the end of the main storyline.

Thank you for that. i finished the game today. finally after i bought the game retail short after the pc release. Without you, i would never saw these speCIAL episodes. They starts really intense

Guess you have to beat the game first...all I see is Statistics, Playbacks and Credits in my Extras. Unless you got it with a DLC.

I have the special 1 and 2, but I don't have any DLC except for the extras pack, but the episodes aren't listed as being in that pack on the store page.

Hey everyone. I saw it there before finishing the game. Under chapters I think. I don't think I could play it until finishing though. Or I didn't try.
