Adamantine Forge items.
I'm at the Adamantine Forge and I got the heavy armour for Shadowheart with the first piece of ore, I could get the shield for her also as it is better than what she has already (she is currently using the safeguarding shield that gives a +1 to saving throws), but I'm also considering getting a second heavy armour piece to sell since it has such high value.

What would be your advice for me and if it influences the advice i have 21K gold ready to take into act 2.

If they're all dead, then yeah, I'd say go for the shield. It's not good for the party if the cleric goes down, so maximizing her defense is a good strategy.

Also, there's a feat (Heavy Armor Master) which gives you 3 points of damage reduction while wearing heavy armor, as well as increasing your Strength score by 1.

You could respec Shadowheart to any of the cleric domains that get heavy armour (war, tempest, life), which are all miles better than her starting domain regardless (and it doesn't affect the story, she remains a cleric of Shar).

Trickery is probably the worst domain in the game. I was never impressed by it in EA, even before Larian nerfed the 'stealth build' option by making Sneak cost a full action.

In my save I made the heavy armour already for Shadowheart and equipped it on her, I wouldn't even consider making a second to sell over something different for her it it didn't have a value of nearly 4k gold

Indeed - I tried to do a proper stealth cleric build with her, aiming for the Dark Justiciar Half-Plate. But it's just not worth it as it is too situational. And her main job is healing & buffing - doesn't help if she is stealthing around somewhere in the enemy flanks.

I tend to give her the life or warpriest subclass.

Get 1 scale and 1 splint.

1 for Shadowheart and the other for Lazael

Lae'zel is dead in my game, I sided with the tieflings when she was in the cage
