Adamantine Forge items.
I'm at the Adamantine Forge and I got the heavy armour for Shadowheart with the first piece of ore, I could get the shield for her also as it is better than what she has already (she is currently using the safeguarding shield that gives a +1 to saving throws), but I'm also considering getting a second heavy armour piece to sell since it has such high value.

What would be your advice for me and if it influences the advice i have 21K gold ready to take into act 2.

With 21k I'd say its better to get a piece of usable adamantite gear.

I built the heavy armor for me and the medium armor for shadowheart

Can you even craft a second heavy armour, I'm pretty sure it used up my mold. I crafted a heavy and a medium, and I'm using both.

I got a medium armor and a heavy armor and called it good myself. it really just depends on your team!

For me 2 heavy armors wouldn't work and I only have one shield used so she has pick from all the shields I find so I didn't feel like i had to make one.

shield since it can be used by light and med armor useres and like the armor makes u immune to crits...its the most versatile item u can make...

As equipment availability is bound to level first and coins second the adamantine armors (both heavy and medium) are "act 2 gear". It's not like that by entering act 2 it will rain epic equipment into the traders inventories. A very nice purple shield and one nice heavy armor - that's as good as it got for me when visiting 6 act 2 traders (without leveling up).

I'd also go for 2 heavy adamantine armors - as Shadowheart and my main char both wear heavy plates.

I still have the mould, it was still in the forge and I was able to retrieve it so I'm assuming I can use it again

I don't really have anyone the medium armour would be good for, only an extra heavy to sell or the shield for Shadowheart

The adamantine splint is also just a very solid piece of armor, Reeling and DR is pretty decent and i was using it on my MC paladin all to way to the end.

DO NOT SELL THE ARMOR!

Seriously, why the heck would you sell a suit of armor that inflicts 3 stacks of Reeling on anybody who hits you while wearing it? Especially in the later game once everybody starts getting multi attacks?

If you don't plan on giving the armor to Lae'zel, Minthara, or possibly your own character, then I would suggest forging the shield. It also applies reeling to anybody who attacks you, but only if they miss.

The armor and shield synergize with each other quite well, because no matter if the enemy hits you or misses you, they still suffer Reeling. Also, the heavy armor and shield combo will give Shadowheart a very high AC.

I just don't really have anyone to give it to. Karlach can only go to medium armour, she has the bloodguzzler garb, linebreaker boots, cap of wrath and reasons grasp gloves so her set is pretty much complete. Then I have two spelcasters and me as a monk

Lae'zel, Astarion and Minthara are all dead in my game, would it be worth getting the medium armour for one of the legacy characters I can recruit in the later acts or should I get the shield for shadowheart?

Splint Armour > Shield > Pick up helmet from boss corpse > you now have three characters that can't be critically hit.

And if you decide to equip the shield and armour on one character that's good too. They will apply the really strong 'reeling' debuff to enemies when attacked, regardless of whether the enemy hits or misses (armour applies it when you get hit, shield when they miss).

It's crazy powerful as it stacks, so enemies that multi-attack my lae'zel wind up having -6 to hit after one turn due to reeling.
