Wait, now that I think about it, I gave it to shadowheart. Pfff
Sure, the "daylight" whatever source it has, will protect like a torch.
But the shadow curse is not "inhabiting the shadows", it IS the shadows. When it is weak, you are not "removing the curse", so much as you are using a counter power to avoid its effects.
Lathander is not the power that removes the curse. Selune is. And that is what Isorbel does.
Dont know if you know, but the Shadow curse is the power of Shar.
IRL... The more light you have the stronger/harder shadows you create... Multiple light sources doesn't remove this effect either. Rather creates multiple shadows depending from where the light sources are located.
removing shadows isn't about how strong your light is or that you have multiple light sources... rather that you take an extremely strong light source (one mind you) and you 'diffuse' the light.
Much like the Sun and mildly thick cloud cover. The clouds DIFFUSE the light. To the point that Shadows become very very faint and/or sometimes almost gone.
Photographers love it. For certain types of photography mind you. Dynamic range handled.
Like I said. IMHO... It was actually well thought out that it's not the Sun but the Moon that helps to protect from the Shadow Curse.
And its not Selune's power that keeps you safe from the deeper shadow curse, only the lesser effects so you don't need a torch, its the magic of a damn fairy who's entire species is favored by Mystra herself.
