Gortash Netherstone missing

I send Gortash from the wall to abyss. Then fight finished I got dialogue with demoness about Will. My quest saying take stone from his cabinet but there is no gloves,

I'm in more or less the same situation. Gortash died to gravity because of some eldritch blasts, Karlach says she needs to see his corpse, journal says to take the netherstone... but the quest marker is in the middle of a chasm by the drawbridge so I can't access it. Stalking in case anyone finds a solution.

Im stuck on the same situation. I used telekinesis to throw Gortash off a cliff and now I can't find his body :(

Atleast I killed Orin and Kethric using gravity :)

Same thing, the netherstone is simply not inside the body

Correct, it's in the gloves. If you have sent them to another character or to camp, just go and retrieve them and put the gloves in your inventory. It will start a cutscene, and then the gloves will be altered to a version without the stone, his sawn off hand, and the tone itself

Hmm maybe bugged. When interacting with the body there should be a short cutscene. Like when you took Thorn's gem.

i also can't get to the stone, he fell off the roof when getting hit with a lightning spell; now his body is inaccessible in a chasm. tried using fly or jump to look for any ledges that maybe existed, but nothing. guessing i just have to do the whole fight over.

I killed Gortash IN THE CASTLE and he doesn't have the netherstone. :( My game is stuck.

His netherstone is somehow his gloves. Try put them in one of your character's bag, not in the inventory at your camp. Figured this out in like 15 min.

That was it. sent it to camp from chest since i had no use for those gloeves

Unlike Ketheric and Orin, where you just click the body and the Netherstone is taken off their respective equipment before you even get a chance to loot, Gortash's is.... different. You get to loot, which is what needs to be changed about this quest.

The trigger to get his stone is to loot and equip(!!!) his gloves (the orange ones). If there is no body to loot, because players went out of their way to lure him to the edge of the fort and push him into the chasm? Yeah, sorry to say, it seems they did not make a failsafe for that situation, so far. Certainly something worth to report for a future patch.

Until then, cheesing this fight is not an option. Fight him the intended way.

Same thing happened to me but with Ketheric's stone...probably a good 75-80 gameplay hours ago. I probably sold it to a vendor in Act 2.

However, I made it to the end, and it doesn't matter whether you lost one on the way. It seems like as long as you received all three at some point, the game doesn't penalize you for not actually having them in your inventory! So that's nice.

Cheat engine actually saved me on this one, also pushed Gortash into the abyss. Managed to solve it by spawning the item id "f7d87a7a-e5aa-4bc9-ba51-4e2df3e0bae0" and the game fixed it self.

how did you manage to actually spawn it though? I am having similar issue with Kethric's stone and am not understanding Cheat Engine and this table, really. A step by step idiot's guide would be amazing please.
