This is really the question. Were the writers so intent on forcing woke issues that they forgot how to write a straight character? Proof lies in three scenes I have had so far - first is Gale. You have a moment when he shows you the "Weave" and it is a serious sharing of the intensity of his relationship with the Weave. How does that turn into an open door for a gay conversation?? Second is the whole fact that I have NOT ONCE included Halsin in my company, nor have I engaged in anything beyond story chatter, and yet he comes on to my character like a sick 19yo who snuck into a night club. Lastly, Astarion makes frequent remarks of the salacious kind and sounds like the worst version of a stereotypical flaming queer who is being caught out of drag.

I can understand Astarion being that way, its part and parcel of his character. He is definitely the "token gay guy" that every story line has now days. But you cant flag the Halsin conversations with "non sexual" discussions?? You cant flag Gale as "non sexual" after the first rejection?? What is wrong with your writers? Have they never had real friends? do they NOT know what a ....to use an outdated term... "Bromance" is??

I stood up for Larian earlier saying "you can make the choices and wont have to deal with the woke stuff." but seems I was wrong - Larian, or someone there in, is definitely trying to make this a woke issue....

Your opening statement is a straight up lie.

You can totally close out the possibility of relationships by denying them with the right dialogue choices.

But like actual decent written characters, they're still hopeful and the option is still on the table. Unlike most other rpg's where they robotically turn off.

i've seen the responses to your commentary. you should try reading them, and absorbing what they are trying to tell you. your behavior... is not normal. trying to use a video game for personal wish fulfillment in reality... is not normal. You are completely projecting.
