Pretty sure I killed her. My journal even said she was a corpse, and became dust on the wind.
With the exception of Shadowheart (who desperately needs a new domain), I don't feel comfortable respecing the Origins into different classes. I know it doesn't affect their stories, but it still feels wrong from an RP perspective.
i had the exact same scenario, dont worry
to get around this you MUST kill the guy who came to kidnap her first, and kill her afterward, OR dont kill your lover and wait until the end of act 2, you will kill her in combat and it counts
consuming just one parasite with her removes the debuff. the doctor/scientist that runs the machine will lock you in the room. if you read the debuff on Laezel, it says perhaps consuming some tadpoles will restore her mind. once you consume one., the doctor bursts in with guards.
That must be new, since I'm fairly certain it wasn't in before.
I got it even by letting her stay in the machine. Which was a surprise.
You are not required to go there full stop. You can keep Lae'zel with a speech check even if you never go there. Her character development changes as a result.
Me too. I also noticed that always I would get nat 20 after spending three inspiration points on that specific Last check. After getting the buff, I reloaded older savegames several times, even after restarting the game. I always got nat 20 after the third try.
I wonder if that happened to you and other players who followed that path, too.
I didn't pay close attention. I'll try to next time I do that scene.
